Peter Stokes sadly passed away on the 24th April 2008, he was from Resolven but had recently moved to Swansea. Just 33, he had so many years left with everyone who loved him.
He'll be missed so much by everyone who knew him. He had that gift of being able to make everyone smile. Its going to be so hard to get over this tradgedy, but we'll carry on somehow. ''Live your life to the full'', thats what he told me, and thats deffinately what he done.
Sadly, he's left behind his beautiful daughter Georgia, my niece, but she knows her daddy is looking down on her taking care of her from heaven, and that he loves her so much.
I keep looking at all the photos we have of you, and wish I would just pull you out of a photo, and you'd be back here with us laughing and joking like we used to. I know I cant do this, but we can all wish.
I keep thinking maybe this is all one big nightmare, but as the days go on, i know its not. You were like a father and a brother in one, and I know Jess is never going to find another Peter. No-one will ever replace you,and nothing will ever fill the hole in our hearts you've left, all we can do is let time go on by, and hopefully all the good memories we have of you can help us along the way.
Hopefully ''Mufasa'' wont ever forget us either. Just writting the name Mufasa makes me smile, and remember how you used to say it, but at the same time my eyes start to fill up, and all the memories flood back of when everything was just perfect, even though we didnt realise it.
Rest In Peace Pete, take care of yourself and look down on us and protect everyone you love. See you soon.
